What’s the Tabernacle, you say?
It’s an intricate tent that GOD instructed Moses to build during the Old Testament days.
What does a super old tent have to do with me here in the 21st century, you wonder? It has everything to do with you.
“When you understand the truths of the Tabernacle,” says Kay Warren, “suddenly the entire New Testament is opened up to you in a whole new way.”
The Tabernacle was a place that GOD designed, and instructed Moses to build. The tent was created out of GOD’s desire to draw close to His people and it was in the tent where He met them. And though the story of the Tabernacle resides in the Old Testament, it casts an important shadow on the New Testament and on JESUS himself.
“The New Testament assumes you understand the Tabernacle,” says Kay. “Almost the entire book of Hebrews is based on the Tabernacle.” Kay explains that, as you study the Tabernacle, you begin to realize that it has incredible significance for your faith.
“I promise you this: by learning about the Tabernacle, it will change the way that you relate to GOD. I’m really careful about overpromising, but I’m not overpromising on this. It will change your walk with GOD.”
